DATA POLICY

This document contains the current data policies of Smart Utility Solutions ("Provider") with respect to your subscription to Electric Utility Manager ("EUM").

1. Deletion.

If you cancel your EUM subscription, your EUM account will be deactivated. Deactivated accounts are no longer accessible and the data stored in them is not used. Deactivated accounts will eventually be deleted.

The events that occur during account cancellation are outlined below:

(a) You cancel EUM subscription. Your EUM account will remain active until the end of your final billing period.

(b) If you cancel your service with EUM, your EUM account will no longer be accessible by your employees, your agents or admins once the current billing cycle ends. Please be absolutely sure that you want to proceed before you cancel.

(c) Once your final billing period is finished, your EUM account will be deactivated shortly afterward. Information associated with your deactivated account is no longer used and will no longer be accessible.

(d) After deactivation, Provider may delete your account and all of its data. Once this is done, the data cannot be recovered.

2. Retention.

Once your account has been deactivated, your information will no longer be used and Provider may delete your account and all of its data. Please note that some information may remain in our records even after deletion of your account, such as historical billing information kept for legal and accounting reasons. Additionally, because of the way we maintain certain services, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our servers and may remain in our backup systems.
